I started this blog in July of the year 2006. As it approaches nearly 2 years old I am just as confused about what it’s really about now more than ever.

In the past I’ve tried to say it’s about celebrities, video games, and all around entertainment.

I’ve used it to make extra income with payperpost and google adsene.

I’ve used it as a way to meet some really great people who leave awesome comments.

I’ve used it as something to do when I have to mark tons of comments as Spam every once in awhile so I am not promoting poker sites, x rated sites, or experimental drugs.

Lately though, I hardly find the time to post and when I do its just a tidbit about my life as I don’t have time time or want to really put much effort into posts anymore. I think I can honestly say that this blog will end soon.

Many of you out there may not know what a bookmarket is or does. Basically, it’s just javascript, but you but it as the address in a bookmark, and you can do some wonderful things. If you’ve got Mac OS X and use Safari or Camino (instead of Firefox) it is possible to re-create nearly all of the functionality of the Firefox Web Developer function using bookmarklets. I use Camino, and did this by making some of my own bookmarklets and used may from pimpmycamino.com’s bookmarklets page.

However, as far as PS3 is concerned, it’s javascript is not as advanced and so many bookmarklets don’t work. I did find some that do work and can be very useful on the PS3. If you’re using a PS3 just hold X on these links, and bookmark the page. Then rename it back to the proper name, then use it whenever you need to.

Set Font Size to 20px
Directory Up
TinyURL From Current Page

Basically, all of these are pretty convient for browsing the internet on your Playstation 3. The first one makes text bigger and more readable. The second one is really nice when browsing blogs or other pages that have multiple directories where the back button is not always want you want to use, but instead just want to go up 1 direcotry (like apexad.net/2008/ to just apexad.net). The third one makes quick short urls so you won’t have to type as much to copy a url that you found while browsing on your playstation 3.

I’m in the process of looking for more that work and can be useful and may post them from time to time.

So, all the players are starting to head back to training camp and the time is vast approaching to get ready for the next NFL Season. I definitely want to get some tickets to see a few Green Bay Packer games this season. That being said though I’d settle for any sports tickets for any NFL team as long as I could get to the location via a plane, or drive less then 6-7 hours. I’ve only been to 1 football game and I really want to at least double that number, if not triple or quadruple it this next season.

I could even make a trip out of it and perhaps get some concert tickets or something and visit a new city and have a whole lot of stuff planned.

I really want to try and take a trip in June, July, or August. Is anyone else planning a trip? What event tickets are you going to get? Is anyone looking forward to the upcoming NFL season as much as I am?

I’ve wanted to post pictures of my apartment for awhile now. I also want to post a picture of my new TV and PS3. So, I finally decided to actually get this done. This picture was taken with my cell phone camera.

The PS3 is actually just in ‘Internet Browser’ mode loading up the Home Page, but the thing that matters here is size and awesomeness, not really what’s on the screen. My cell phone camera would not be able to take an accurate picture of what in-game graphics look like on my TV anyway.

As far as that goes, it’s impressive. Although, it is very interesting that I must tell my PS3 that my TV cannot do 720P or 1080i so that it will actually play games in 1080p.

Since Blu-Ray won, I decided that I would get a PS3. I also decided that it was about time to upgrade from my 19″ 720P TV. I also bought a 56″ Samsung DLP 1080P TV. I traded my Xbox 360 for some golf clubs (more on that in a different post) and sold all the accessories on eBay and most of the money from the auctions went to buying a stand-alone HD-DVD player since I don’t plan on selling my HD-DVD collection (and I might even make it bigger).

So far I’ve only bought 1 game for the PS3, and that is Grand Theft Auto 4. I want to buy MLB: The Show ‘08 fairly soon. I’m also probably going to reserve Madden ‘09. I also want to get a Dual Shock 3 because the normal controller is just too light for me.

Finally, I have bought 1 Blu-Ray disc: The Fifth Element. The movie Ultraviolet is in the mail

I have yet to find the will and time to go that far again, but I have at least started doing the migration towards bringing it back.

It doesn’t seem like Internet Explorer 7 has really even been out for that long, but it has. Internet Explorer 8 is the future now. Sadly I am at work right now and not on a Windows machine, but I am planning on testing this out on my Windows machine when I get home later today. If you haven’t heard about Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1, go check out the info page: Internet Explorer 8.

The webslices feature certainly looks interesting, but if it will actually be something people use is anyone’s guess. Also, it’s not like Microsoft to have HTML 5.0 support in a browser when HTML 5.0 is still in the draft stages. It’s even suppose to be fully CSS 2.1 compatible. It will truly be an amazing thing if Microsoft can accomplish this.

So I watched Silk. Firstly, let me point out that not only do you see some Keira Knightley boob in this, but also that of a pretty hot asian woman. That is one of the great things about movies that come from England versus the United States, they’re not so prudish. Anyway, the theme of the movie surprisingly is about a small town that makes Silk. The problem is that 1 man must travel to Japan to retrieve the silk eggs. In doing so he almost lives a double life. His trip becomes harder and harder each time he makes it. Will he survive? Will he keep Keira as his wife? You’ll get the answers when you watch this movie.

I’ll give it a 3 out 5. It’s good, but is somewhat predictable and I often wonder why certain scenes are in the movie as it seems to jump around sometimes.
