Need a workbench? I do.
This post is a bit different then some of my more usual posts, but this is a topic currently on my mind. Recently, I had to fix a couple of things with my car. My Dad had to bring his tools to help me diagnose some problems. This is because I currently don’t have my own tools, besides simple sets. However, that will all change soon. I am planning to get my own tool set soon. This got me thinking about where I would store the tools that I end up purchasing. Obviously this means getting a workbench. I respect my dad very much for doing a lot of projects with his own tools, but, that being said my Dad’s area for projects (his workbench) is pretty plain. I was thinking of going with stainless steal, which can be expensive but it just looks so cool.
How many of you out there have your own tool sets and a workbench. Is your workbench plain or does it have a nice stainless steal look to it?
Happy Birthday Kirsten Dunst!
For the first time in a long time I was able to listen to the morning radio talk show (because I had to drive somewhere in the morning). One of the things they said was that it was Kirsten Dunst’s birthday. In trying to find a good image to make a dual monitor wallpaper I found several that did not work, so I decided to create some at a resolution of 1440×900 which is the requested resolution of a Kirsten Dunst fan; who mentioned to me in a conversation that it was her birthday for the 2nd time today.
In case your wondering, she turned 25. While I’d love to make 25 wallpaper’s featuring her from high resolution pictures, I don’t have that much time on my hands, so I settled on doing just 5. I may add some more to this 1440×900 gallery, but as of this writing it is just widescreen Kirsten Dunst wallpaper.
Great Draft by the Packers
If you did not know it already, this post will tell you, I am a Green Bay Packers fan. My friend Battle Rifle claims that the draft was a dissapointment. You could go and read my large comments left on his blog, or just get my opinion right here.
Last year, it was a huge success towards the end of the season to move Cullen Jenkins to Defensive End. This created a problem though in that we now lost such an awesome Defensive Tackle. By Drafting a DT in the first round, this puts some competition at the position.
The Packers do need defense! Over the past couple of years the Packers have been losing close games. One way to win close game is to improve your defense. The packers did this in the draft with the first pick and the picking up of some LB and a Safety from Virgina Tech (the first player from the school in the draft).
Then, with their 2nd pick the Packers picked up a running back that might fill the void lost by Ahman Green. While I have voiced my opinion that the packers should not draft a running back, I am ok with this pick here, because competition is always good. Brandon Jacobs seems to be built more like Ahman Green as well, so maybe we will do the same thing as last year and switch between them.
Otherwise, as far as offense is concerned, the Packers picked up some possible Wide Recivers, a Tight End, and another running back that will compete for the FB vacany left my William Henderson. Finally, they picked up another lineman who may compete for a starting job, although I hope that our line stays the same as it did last year because it was good considering that our RBs got more than 1800 yards.
So, overall, I hope I have shown you that the Packers made good decisions in the draft. I am really looking forward to the next football season!
My blog has been feedest’ed
Yeah, you read that correctly. Feedest is the newest search-able feed list site on the internet. It’s a very clean and well designed site unlike some of the competition it has. You don’t see too many orange sites around, but feedest is probably the best orange site out there! Like similar sites it has the big tag cloud on it in case you don’t know what you are looking for and want to see what’s popular these days. It even has a tag and comment system for blogs. Here is the link to my feed if you would like to tag it or leave a comment about it (I would really appreciate that). If you want to see one of my blog entries on the site, try typing in ‘keira knightley’
I also highly suggest that you go to the site and add your own blog feed to it as well.
Keira Knightley’s Measurements, the update
It started when I was bored. I did some research on Keira Knightley’s Measurements. The post was a huge success and brought a lot of traffic to my blog so I decided to do a new post called Keira Knightley’s Measurements re-visited.
Now the time has come for the update. I am going to do this one exactly like the first one and go through each attribute one by one and site my original research, new research, and everyone’s opinion & research from the comments.
Height
5′ 7″ - IMDB & telegraph.co.uk
5′ 8″ - Amazon.com POTC Standup
Update:
Most of you thought seem to think it is 5′ 7″ is correct. Dough brings up an excellent point though. Keira may wear slight platform shoe’s and be measured at 5′ 8″ sometimes. Either way, 1 inch is really not significant.
Weight
Guess - 100-120 lbs
115lbs - telegraph.co.uk(8st = 112 lbs)
I originally did not discuss this attribute but it came up in comments so I thought I would add it this time around. Weight can fluctuate so this is not really important to nail down exactly, but I think it was discussed pretty well in comments of the first 2 points that it would be alright if Keira gained some weight, but she certainly does not have to.
Bust/Breasts
32B - telegraph.co.uk
32C - dailymail.co.uk
Update:
I originally said 32B and while just about everyone agrees on 32, most say Keira is most likely an ‘A’ not ‘B’ and definitely not a ‘C’. Truth be told, I knew this myself without any of you telling me, but originally I did not find any articles that said Keira Knightley was in fact an A-cup. The first post was about research, not opinion.
However, just recently The Sun Online stated she is 32AA. On a side note the article also mentions that Keira Knightley never wants to get surgery to enhance her chest. That’s fine with me and many of her fans as well.
Waist
27″ - US Weekly
23.5″ - nzherald.co.nz
Update:
Most of the comments suggest that Keira is indeed close to the size 0 measurement Katch pointed out the point that Keira loves to wear corsets and that according to vera wang a size 2-4 is something close to a 24 or 25 inch waist. Articles generally put Keira at a size 0 up to size 6 in some cases. I think that most would agree that she is likely a 2 or 4 though.
Hips
Original posts were guesses using data from all the articles.
Update:
This was the hardest one for me initially. I could not really find any solid data on this in the beginning. Generally most people in the comments said they thought she was about 32″ - 35″ inches, and using the above vera wang dress page that seems about right.
Overall Measurements
I think that through all 3 posts I have proven that there is no reliable source of information to get Keira Knightley’s full measurements. Anything I say here can be critiqued until the end of time. Plus, I think it is safe to say that Keira Knightley’s weight and measurements fluctuate a little bit. So, I am not going to put any measurements here. I’ll let you decide for yourself. If you really care read all 3 of my posts and all the comments and I think you’ll have an idea.
On a side note, Tony Brown suggested I was foolish to do this, and I should just measure her when I meet her. I also joked about this in the comments of the 2nd post. To clarify, I would love to meet Keira Knightley, there is no question about that. However, I’d also love to meet just about any woman with a nice body, good looks, intelligence, and a few other attributes. I post about Keira Knightley because as an actress, admiration for her is a very common thing. If through the course of my life I do get a chance to meet her, that would be great, but it is not a priority and I would never violate her privacy or life in an attempt to meet her.
